Tasty Tuesday


So this weekend we had our first whiskey base cocktail and I was pleasantly surprised! We made a traditional Whiskey sour with fresh lemon juice and it was almost like a boozy lemonade- perfect for hot summer evenings, here the is the recipe ...

1 1/2 oz whiskey
1 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz simple syrup

N doesn't like cherries much so I garnished with lemon- I think next time I will add a little grenadine, because you can't have too much grenadine in your life, right? Happy Cocktail mixing!♥
